Grazzy inks partnership for digital tipping with Hyatt

Digital tipping platform Grazzy has been selected as a preferred technology provider for Hyatt Hotels.

The partnership means Grazzy’s tipping solutions can be used across Hyatt’s locations, helping hotel employees earn extra cash.

The Hyatt news comes on top of Grazzy pilot programs with other hotel companies including Hotel Equities, HRI, Crestline and Dimension Hospitality.

The deal with HE, which also includes Visa, was announced in July.

Grazzy, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Startup for 2024, has also developed an interactive reporting tool to help hotel operators get to grips with team and property performance.

Russell Lemmer, founder and CEO of Grazzy, said, “Grazzy is helping service workers recapture tips that cashless innovations have for years made fewer and farther between. In doing so, we help hotels, bars, restaurants and other service businesses recruit and retain great talent in a competitive labor market.” 

The startup announced $4.25 million in seed funding at the beginning of 2023 and said the investment would go towards expanding its digital tipping and same-day pay services as well as integrations with property management systems.
